Operation Christmas Child
Shoeboxes

Now through November 21

It's that time of year to pack a shoebox and give this wonderful gift to a child somewhere in the world and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ. 

 

Since 1993, over 198 million boys and girls in more than 170 countries and territories have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child.  Click below to see the excitement.

Boxes will be available in the foyer beginning Sunday, October 2 through November 6. Packed shoeboxes will be due back on Sunday, November 13.

Build a Shoebox Online

  • As an alternative to physically packing a box, you can build one online for $25, including shipping.  You have the option of choosing your own items to go in the box.   

  • Visit the Samaritan's Purse Build a Box Online page, by clicking the button below.  They have given us a customized link just for our church.

  • Separate schedule and activities for little ones ages 6mos-4yrs

An Evening in December

Join us for this wonderful evening where we gather to celebrate the birth of our Savior. This year's theme is "Giving Thanks in an unpredictable world."  Various individuals and families will lead us in giving thanks to God through music, skits, and celebration.

​

  • Members, please let Lynn Tolliver know if your "family" (family, friends, small group, etc.) would like to participate in the program  

  • Rehearsal is December 7th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM  

  • The children's choir will be participating in this program

5:30 PM - Fellowship Meal

6:15 PM - Kingdom Kids and Kingdom Kubs

6:30 PM - Prayer Meeting, Youth, Ladies' Bible Study

Various timeslots to choose from

THE MYSTERY ON THE POLAR EXPRESS

Do you love mysteries?  Solving puzzles? Working as a team?  Then book a time slot today to solve the mystery of the Polar Express.  A team can have a maximum of 8 players, $120 per team (regardless of number of players).  All proceeds will be donated to Operation Christmas Child. 

Time slots available are: (grey is taken)
March 1: 5:30pm | 7:00pm | 8:30pm

March 2:  9am | 10:30am | 12pm | 1:30pm | 3:00pm | 4:30pm | 6:00pm | 7:30pm | 9:00pm

March 3:  2pm | 3:30pm | 5:00pm | 6:30pm | 8:00pm

Register below and choose your time slot.  Only 1 team can play per time slot.  Once a time slot is selected, it won't be available anymore. There is a link to pay the fee online after you've registered. 

Please have one person register and pay for your whole team.

Senior Adult Luncheon

November 19, 11:00 AM

Are you 55 or older? Join us for our J.O.Y. monthly lunch on November 19 at 11:00 AM.  We will be meeting in the CAC for a potluck.  Feel free to bring anyone, any age!!  Our theme will be Being Thankful.  We will be collecting items for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes, if you wish to bring something. We will also have a Memory Show 'n Tell, please bring a special item(s) from you past to share if you'd like to participate.

Build-A-Box

Online or due at church by Sunday, November 17

Bless a boy or girl around the world without leaving home and build your box today.

​

Pick up your Shoebox at church in the foyer or build a Shoebox Online and help a child in the far reaches of the world hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ!  Select fun items from their collection and personalize your gift with a letter and photo.  They'll pack the gift for you and send it on its way for a suggested donation of $25.  As a result of gifts like yours, families are being reached, churches started, and communities transformed by the power of the Gospel.
